Last week my daughter and I attended the Washington County Sheriff's department's self-defense class for women. I took it for two reasons: research and for the reality of the world we live in. The class was intense and informative and so worth the time. I recommend every woman take a self defense class. I was told the next class will be in May so keep watch the beginning of April for sign ups. You don't have to be in Washington County to attend.
For those of you who live in other areas, check with your county sheriff's department or police department to see what they offer.
